My Story

  • The impressionist period is my favorite.
  • I work mostly in acrylics today.
  • Night is the time I come alive.
  • Cocktails are always a good idea.
  • Everything gets better with a little age…

Canvas is life...

“If you hear a voice within you say you cannot paint, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.” —Vincent Van Gogh

From a very young age, I remember different family members influencing and contributing to my love of art and travel.  At fifteen,  my father gifted me with my first set of oils, thus began my passion of a lifetime—all things art related.

I entered the University of Georgia to study art, but life led me into the service of my country, as a military wife and mother.  It was during those years of travel,  I nurtured my love and appreciation for the art world even further.

Blessed to have lived and traveled throughout Europe and the Middle East, each stop along the way has contributed to my style and technique.

After raising my family and retiring from a successful career in real estate and as a business coach, I have settled back into my art full-time. It has become a true passion of mine resurfaced to pick up my paints once again.
